Big boy now!!

Let me set the stage for you: We've been working really hard the last couple days with potty training our youngest Zachie. We now have no diapers or pull ups in the house. He's onto big boy underwear!!! He wanted to call Grandma so here is how the call went from our side with what he said to her....

Z-me pee in toilet

Z-no diapers anymore

Z-I love you

Z-k byeee

Short and sweet is how he likes it I guess. Grandma was loving it and so were we. Our little boy isn't so little anymore, he's 2 1/2 and getting so big. Yes I'm glad that we don't have to buy pull ups or diapers anymore and it's like getting a raise but that just reminds me that we're done with the baby stage and there won't be anymore little ones crawling around no more baby butts to wipe...I know I know it sounds weird I have 5 and I should be thankful for that which I am VERY much!! It just reminds me that this is so final.....no more babies for me. I will be ok and with time I'm sure I will not even think about it.......

Just the three of US.....

Today was a day for Zachie with Mom & Dad. The other four were with their dad so the three of us headed to Spokane to the Big Horn show at the Fairground. For those that might not know what that is, it's a Hunter's and Fisherman's dream....LOL Zachie got his picture taken with this Grizzly Bear and seen Black Bears with their cubs. He was in AWW of it all. I guess it would be alot for a 2 year old to take in. On our way to watch the Dock Dogs Championship we came up to the Trout fishing. Him and his dad had fun with that not sure which one had more fun...He did catch a trout and we donated it to a local food bank. Then on to see all the wet dogs. It was so funny to see some of these dogs try to jump for the first time, they run super fast and come to a screeching halt right at the end of the dock. To funny!!!


We tried to get him to hold his fish and he still isn't going for it.

Wii time

So those who know me know that I don't allow unlimited video games and TV for the kids. I also thought that a 2 year old shouldn't be playing until I saw how much energy they could get out of their systems.....lol Here is Zachie boxing with his brother on the Wii. The games that the kids could play on the Wii is so interacting that it's actually getting them up and going instead of the video games that they just sit there with. I will definitely let them play more of this plus its a lot of fun to watch them especially a 2 yr old....LOL

(You've never known we had this game system for the last year and half....)

Here is Zachie showing off his new pj pants that I just finished with. Two more pants left to make. Then I will be on to a new project.

My big little helper.......

After doing laundry all day about 7 loads I was relaxing up stairs in the living room and the buzzer went off for the dryer. Well that was a clear indication to go run down the stairs and that's what Zachie did, just that. And after not hearing him or seeing him for a few I was wondering where he went. After I called for him I heard this little voice yelling from down stairs...done its done...see done. So we figured that he was messing around in something that he shouldn't be. I went and checked on him and this is what I found. Absolutely adorable. He is such a great helper. He watched me a little to closely today and how I did the laundry today.

It's harder then it looks mom..trying to get this basket up the stairs.

Now into the living room...hard floor to carpet can be tricky......

And now sitting where mom sits and watching TV just like my mom....while folding clothes.

My first project complete

Ok everyone here is my first complete crocheting project. It is Zach's scarf and I am going to crochet hat to match. And my plan is to do the same for all of our kiddos, different colors of course. So there will be more to come. And for those of out there that have done this before and have alot of experience, don't zoom in to close to the pic....lol remember this is my first ever crocheting project....LOL Plus my 2 yr old will love it and I'm sure where it all day like he did his fleece hat I made him awhile back....it's to funny how a little one gets so excited over things like this.
