Happy Halloween

So after getting three girls and a little boy ready to go out this is what we had. Sierra as a princess of course, Savannah as a witch with a fancy hat, Zachie as a Tiger and Trinity as a pirate. After me and my sister walked around with them in our neighborhood (about an hour) I started to feel a little sad, sad because my oldest who is now 12 is at a halloween party with a group of his guy friends and he thinks he's to old to go trick or treating anymore. It's the first time that I haven't had all my kids with me. It's just another stage of our kids growing up before our eyes........where does the time go????

Here's the four and missing my oldest......but I'm knowing he's having tons of fun!!!

One year ago today.......

So one year ago today we were staying in a hotel room here in Coeur d'Alene for a week. While trying to find a house and jobs etc for our big move. It was a tight fit for seven people to stay in one hotel room....lol but we did it. We were suppose to have headed back to W Wa by the 31 of Oct but decided to stay acouple more days. And since we did that we had to go buy all new halloween costumes for the kiddos. The crazy thing is we had just a week before bought the costumes but of course those were in W WA. So we got them all dressed up and took them to the neighborhood that we were looking to move to and they mad out like bandits. So this evening we will be hitting the same streets that we did last year with the same plan but this time we will also be handing out candy too. So one year ago form today we were getting kids already for halloween except then it was in a hotel and today its in our home. Thank goodness. That one week in hotel room felt like a year........lol

I love Photography.......

I have been playing around all day long with two different photo editing programs. I have about ten different collages that I have made. Unfortuanately I am unable to post them on here but I will put up some sample pics. As you can tell black and white pictures are by far my favorite. I ended up making a collage of each kid by themselves and one with my sissy and the kids and then one of all Dave when he was over seas. I think I am going to turn them into a calander for next year!!!!

Another shot of Sierra gone straight.
And Mr. Zachie dressing himself and caught him dancing too....silly boy.

And then here's Miss Savannah playing photographer shooting herself...thats my girl.

Savannah's got it down

Yeah for Miss Savannah she finally got it down. Yes she just learned how to ride her bike all by herself. After all the kids telling us how bored they were today after all the coloring and reading along with chores, I told them to get their coats and shoes on and go outside to play. While out there Savannah wanted to give her bike a try again. So her big brother ran beside her down the road and what do you know she finally got it. She has been the one that has been so scared to learn how to ride it. When we lived in W. WA. we lived on 5 acres which was great for the kids but we also had a long gravel road and driveway so it was kinda hard to teach her on that. She is oh so excited about it now. Now the 3 older kids can go on a bike ride together and she's not left behind. So here is a few pictures of her today.

More pumpkins......

Can you tell we like pumpkins??? Here is a couple more that Dave and Tristian did tonight. Dave and his redneck ingenuity....using his drill for his skull..cheater....LOL Tristian then had to use it too. So now we have six pumpkins down and two more to carve, which we'll do probably tomorrow.

Here is Tristian playing in the yuck....lol The kids also colored many pumpkins and other fall decor which is now hanging in our dining room along with other beautiful art work of theirs.

A non-typical day......

So after getting a phone call today from the girls school I had to go and pick Trinity up. Come to find out she was hit in the face during recess playing wall ball. Right in the nose and mouth. Now keep in mind for those who didn't know she has braces. You can only imagine her top lip, yeah it's swollen and bloody along with a bloody nose. So while I was there to pick her up I went ahead and picked up Savannah because she hates riding the bus by herself. Anyways I stopped by her Orthodontist office and they looked at her mouth they, all was good there just going to be sore. Then next stop was to her appointment to the ENT and while we were there the doc went ahead checked out her nose, and all was good with that also. Thank goodness, she is just sore and will be for a couple of days. As for her appointment for her hearing well surgery is scheduled for Nov. 3rd to put in a second set of tubes that are more permanent and also they are taking out her adenoids. So they said she could miss up to one week of school which is a big deal for her because she wanted perfect attendance. I told her it will be ok just try again next year for it. To say I'm nervous is an understatement because when she had her first set five years ago she had a very hard time waking up. Please say a prayer that all will be ok.
I gotta get on dinner, until next time......

Our pumpkin patch

You know you have a big family when your pumpkin count looks like this. More to come when we carve them, stay tuned.

The first Hunt..

Where is some of what the boys ie...Dave and Tristian did yesterday while out looking for big game. Although they did not get an Elk or Deer this time out, they did get to shoot the rifles...... at a tree, boys will be boys. We seen Bear prints and found a game trial then on our way out a huge Moose ran out and across the dirt road, we tried to get a picture of it but it didn't turn out. And when I say we it's because the boys got up really early in the morning then came home and then the three of us went back out in the afternoon until the sun went down. It was alot of fun though..cold......but fun!!

Just shot the big bad tree.....lolDad talking things over with son.
